Website redesign: modernise without starting from scratch.
Your website already exists. It no longer reflects what you do, it displays poorly on phones or it has become impossible to update — but not everything needs throwing away. A redesign keeps what works, fixes what holds you back, and brings your site up to the level of your business today.
Is your website working against you?
- It displays poorly on phones, or you have to zoom in to read it.
- It takes several seconds to open, and visitors leave before seeing anything.
- Its design has aged, and it no longer looks like what you sell.
- Some information is wrong or incomplete, and you cannot fix it yourself.
- It gets visits, but nobody gets in touch.
Any one of these points justifies an audit. Several, and a redesign often costs less than one patch after another.
What a redesign actually changes
What you can see
A current design consistent with your trade, readable navigation, well-organised content, and a polished display on desktop, tablet and smartphone.
What you cannot see
Faster pages, a clear structure for search engines, clean tags and structured data, and a site you can update yourself.
Preserving your content and your existing search visibility
- Your text and images are carried over. What is still accurate stays; what has aged is rewritten with you.
- The addresses of your important pages are kept where relevant, and properly redirected where they have to change. The aim is to preserve what exists as far as possible — no redesign, mine or anyone else’s, can guarantee that your positions in Google will be maintained.
- Your domain name remains yours and, in the normal case, does not change — as long as the project allows it.
- Where the set-up allows it, the old site can stay online while the new version is being prepared. The switch happens once the result has been approved.

Timing and budget
The quote is drawn up after the audit: the work depends on the state of the existing site, the number of pages and what can be kept.
After a free first conversation. For a showcase website, allow 2 to 4 weeks as a rule, depending on the complexity of the project and how quickly the content is provided.
A few of the studio’s projects

Lacanau Classic Auto
Showcase website for a local classic car club: a strong identity, an events calendar, a gallery, 100% responsive.
These projects are new builds: they illustrate the level of design, integration and finish that is applied to redesigns as well.
Frequently asked questions about redesigns
Will I lose my search rankings?
This is the point I pay the most attention to, and also the one where honesty matters most: nobody can guarantee that your positions in Google will be maintained. What can be controlled is the quality of the migration — page addresses kept where relevant, clean redirects where they change, the content that ranks you today carried over rather than deleted. That is what gives the best chance of preserving what exists.
Can I keep my host and my domain name?
Yes, in the vast majority of cases. The domain name remains yours and does not change where the project allows it. The hosting is kept if it is suitable; if it is not, I tell you at the audit stage, with the reasons.
Will my site stay online during the work?
In most cases, yes: the new site is built alongside. Where the set-up allows it, the old one stays online during preparation, and the switch only happens once you have approved the result. Some set-ups require a short interruption: in that case it is announced and scheduled with you.
Does everything have to be rewritten?
No. We start from what exists. Some text is still accurate and is carried over as it is; other text has aged and is reworked together. You do not have to start from a blank page.
Will I be able to manage the site after the redesign?
Yes. The site is built on foundations that are easy to pick up, and I show you how to update your content. If you would rather delegate, a maintenance service is available.
