One Page or multi-page website:
which format fits your business?
A One Page website fits a business built around one main offer and a clear way to make contact. Multiple pages become useful when different services, audiences or projects each need an explanation. Start with your visitors’ questions and the content you can actually supply.
Two structures for different needs.
A showcase website presents your business and helps people contact you. It can use one page or several. The difference is how the information is organised.
One Page website
The visitor follows a page divided into sections: your business, services, a few examples of your work and contact details.
- One main subject that is easy to explain.
- One priority audience and action.
- A manageable amount of text and photos.
- No immediate need for detailed service pages.

Multi-page showcase website
Each subject has its own page: services, business, work or contact. The menu connects this information.
- Several services to explain separately.
- Visitors with different needs.
- Projects, news or content to develop.
- A structure that can accommodate new pages.
Chameleon’s starting offer€1,200
The studio’s starting prices at the update date, with scope confirmed in the quote. One Page: 5 to 7 sections. Multi-page: up to 5 content pages in the base, excluding required technical and legal pages. Additional features are assessed separately.
Your business gives context. Your content guides the choice.
These are educational examples, not client results or automatic recommendations.
An electrician who wants people to get in touch
A One Page website may be enough to describe the work offered, the area covered and a few completed projects. Separate pages become useful if residential enquiries, business projects and specialist services need detailed explanations.
A builder working on houses
Construction stages, different types of work and documented projects often justify multiple pages. Each subject needs real text and usable photos. A small selection of well-explained projects is preferable to pages without content.
An association with events and membership
A single annual event can be presented on one page. A club with an introduction, events, gallery and membership benefits from separate sections. Calendars and links to membership platforms require a specific scope.
A concierge service that needs to build trust
Property owners need to understand the services, who looks after their home and what happens when they first get in touch. The structure should answer those questions and let owners explain their situation.
Five questions before deciding.
- Which visitor should you help first? A homeowner, business, property owner or potential member may need different information.
- What should they be able to do? Call, explain a project, check an event or use an existing platform.
- How many subjects need a proper explanation? If each service needs its own examples, process and questions, consider dedicated pages.
- What content can you supply? List the available text, photos, contact details and usage permissions before adding sections.
- What will you want to add in the coming months? New services, articles, languages or tools influence both the structure and the quote.
If your answers focus on one audience, one subject and making contact, start by considering One Page. If several journeys emerge, consider multiple pages. A conversation then helps define the useful scope.
What difference does it make to SEO?
Multiple pages let you give each service or subject its own address. That supports precise links and dedicated explanations, provided each page is useful. The number of pages does not guarantee a search position.
Google recommends clear content, descriptive titles and useful links to understand and discover pages. One Page can suit a focused subject; repetitive pages created just for keywords do not help the visitor. Read Google’s SEO starter guide.
Plan the full budget.
Chameleon’s creation base includes one language, text and photos supplied by you, design, adaptation to common screen sizes, a simple form and SEO basics. The quote also defines the chosen pages and features.
Ask separately about hosting, the domain name, content production, translations, booking or payment features and follow-up after publication. A creation price alone does not describe everything a project will need.
Already have a website? Start with what works and what makes visitors struggle. A targeted correction may be enough; a redesign following a review becomes an option when the structure or technology genuinely limits your business. WordPress maintenance then follows an agreed scope.
Creation and twelve months of follow-up: budget examples
Using the starting prices, a €690 One Page website plus twelve €49 monthly Essential maintenance payments amounts to €1,278. For a €1,200 multi-page showcase website, the same calculation gives €1,788. These examples add Chameleon’s published base prices; your quote defines the cost of your project.
| Example scope | One Page | Multi-page |
|---|---|---|
| Creation only | €690 | €1,200 |
| Creation + Essential €49 × 12 = €588 for follow-up | €1,278 | €1,788 |
| Creation + Comfort €89 × 12 = €1,068 for follow-up | €1,758 | €2,268 |
Calculations use starting prices, one language and text and photos supplied by you. Hosting, the domain name, any licences, additional content and specific features are quoted separately. Prices follow the studio’s published offers.
Maintenance is optional. Twelve payments provide a budget comparison and do not impose a twelve-month commitment. Essential covers the agreed technical follow-up; Comfort adds one hour of minor content changes each month, which cannot be carried over. The website’s initial condition and work outside the subscription require a review and, if necessary, a separate quote. Compare the two maintenance options →
