One Page website: the essentials of your business on a single page.
A single page, organised in sections and read in one continuous scroll: who you are, what you offer, how to reach you. It is the right format when the offer is clear and the goal is to be found, understood and contacted — without building a site structure you do not need yet.
Who a One Page website is for
A One Page website is not a cut-down showcase website. It is a format in its own right, well suited to some situations and poorly suited to others.
- You are launching your business and need an online presence quickly.
- You are a consultant, freelancer or tradesperson with one clear main offer.
- Your business is local and can be explained in a few paragraphs.
- You want to present your trade, your services and your contact details — nothing more.
- You would rather start simple, and let the site grow later if needed.
What the page contains
Here is a typical structure. It is adapted to each project: we keep the sections that serve your business and drop the rest.
- 01 · An opening statementWhat you do, for whom, and where.
- 02 · An introductionYour background, the way you work.
- 03 · Your servicesWhat you actually offer.
- 04 · What sets you apartMethod, guarantees, way of working.
- 05 · ProofCompleted work, site photos, testimonials — whatever you have available.
- 06 · A few frequently asked questionsIf they save back-and-forth with your customers.
- 07 · ContactForm, phone number, area covered.
What is included
- A bespoke designA page designed for your business, not a purchased theme filled in.
- A responsive pageDesigned and tested on desktop, tablet and smartphone.
- Solid SEO foundationsClear structure, speed, tags and structured data.
- A simple contact formName, email, message, with the required consent and anti-spam protection.
- Technical set-up of the cookie bannerWhere the services used on your site require it.
- Two rounds of revisionsYour corrections are integrated over two review rounds.
- A site you can update yourselfThe basics are easy to pick up, and I show you how.
- A single point of contactFrom the first conversation to going live, you deal with one person only.
- Going liveFinal checks, publication and handover.
What stays on your side. Text and images are provided by you. The domain name and hosting are taken out and paid for directly by you — I can guide you through choosing and setting them up if you wish. Legal notices and legal content must be provided or approved by you: I handle the technical side, I do not give legal advice.
Copywriting and the creation of visuals can be taken on as an extra. They are then priced in the quote.
Let’s talk about your project →
What can affect the price
- The amount of content to integrate.
- The graphic work requested: illustrations, retouching, identity design.
- Specific features: booking, payment, calendar, multilingual.
- A more complex or qualifying form, beyond the simple form included.
- Copywriting, if you would rather delegate it.
- Changes requested beyond the two rounds of revisions included.
The quote is drawn up after the first conversation, once the actual scope is known. The displayed price is a starting point: “from €690”.
How it works
- 01 · ConversationYour business, your offer, what the site needs to achieve. Quote within 24 business hours.
- 02 · StructureThe order of the sections and the message of each one, approved before any design work.
- 03 · Visual directionThe design of the page, approved before integration.
- 04 · IntegrationBespoke development, content set-up, responsive display.
- 05 · Going liveChecks, publication, handover.
A precise schedule is set at the outset, depending on the project and on when the content is available.
When a One Page website is no longer enough
A One Page website reaches its limits as soon as there are several subjects to cover in depth. If each of your services deserves a detailed explanation, if you want to target several distinct search queries, if you plan to publish regularly, or if your catalogue is going to grow — what you need is a showcase website.
Saying so now saves you rebuilding the site in a year’s time.

One Page or showcase website
One Page website
- A single page, read in one flow.
- One main offer to present.
- A more accessible entry budget.
- A more compact project.
- One main subject to put forward.
Showcase website
- Several pages, each with its own role.
- Several services to develop.
- A more complete project.
- A richer structure that can grow.
- Several subjects that can be worked on separately for search engines.
A One Page website can rank well on one specific subject. A multi-page structure mainly adds the ability to work on several distinct subjects, each on its own dedicated page.
The level of finish
The projects I have published so far are multi-page websites. The standard is the same for a One Page website: bespoke art direction, carefully crafted responsive display, performance under control and checks before going live.
Frequently asked questions about the One Page website
What exactly is a One Page website?
It is a website made up of a single page, divided into sections that you scroll through: introduction, services, proof, contact. The menu does not lead to other pages; it moves the visitor from one section to the next. Technically it is a complete website — domain name, hosting, search engine optimisation — simply concentrated on a single address.
How do I know whether it suits my business?
The question to ask is simple: do you have one main subject, or several subjects that each deserve their own page? One clear offer, one area covered, one trade — a One Page website is more than enough. Several services to explain in detail, a blog planned, a catalogue to grow — a showcase website is the better starting point. We decide together during the first conversation, and I will tell you plainly if the One Page format is not the right one for you.
Do I have to provide the text and images?
Yes, by default the text and images are provided by you: they are your trade and your work, and nobody knows them better than you do. I tell you precisely what I need, section by section, so that you are never facing a blank page. If you would rather delegate the copywriting or the creation of visuals, that is possible as an extra, priced in the quote.
Can I add pages later?
Yes. The site is built on WordPress: adding pages later poses no technical problem. That said, if we know from the start that several will be needed, it is better to go straight for a showcase website — the structure will be designed for it, and you will avoid a rework.
Will the site display properly on a phone?
Yes. Every site I build is responsive: designed and tested on desktop, tablet and smartphone. On a One Page website this matters all the more, since most visitors will scroll through the page on their phone.
And once the site is live, who looks after it?
You, if you wish: the basics are easy to pick up and I show you how to update your content. If you would rather delegate updates, backups and monitoring, a maintenance service is available.
